Ascendum will once again be the official sponsor of the WRX Championship event for the Barcelona race

On October 29 and 30, the CE Dealer Team heads to Spain for the penultimate round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship at the classic Barcelona-Catalonia Circuit. Ascendum will once again be the sponsor of the event and the CE Dealer Team, in association with Volvo CE, official track construction partner of this 100% electric race.
With two races left in the 2022 season, the CE Dealer Team sits in third place in the team championship. As for its two drivers, Niclas Grönholm is just three points behind second place and Klara Andersson is currently seventh.
The team now heads to the classic Barcelona-Catalonia circuit for a special race on a fully paved F1 circuit, which will be 100% electric, as no other categories will compete this time.

Ascendum and Volvo CE have once again prepared a high-speed experience for the many guests attending the race on Saturday and Sunday, including customers, Ascendum service technicians and other team members and partners.
The program of these exciting days will include much more than just the races:

- A challenge or game with an electric excavator
- A mini excavator for children with a sandbox
- A fun area for guests
- Change Starts Here and Go Electric Seminars
- Possibility to meet the CE Dealer Team drivers, Klara and Niclas, in the Paddock.
We are approaching the end of the 2022 championship season, so this race will undoubtedly be one of vital importance for the CE Dealer Team and also for Ascendum, who are breaking new ground with this sponsorship in association with Volvo CE. An experience that, so far, is very positive, given the incredible feedback we are receiving from customers, Volvo CE and Ascendum Teams.
