What is Active Care?
Active Care is a data evaluation service.
Telematics data can be very useful in improving the efficiency and uptime of your fleet, but an avalanche of data can prevent you from getting the information which is really important. This is where Active Care comes in. Combining 24/7 equipment monitoring with fleet capacity reports, the comprehensive service is designed to maintain your equipment in the best condition, reduce unplanned downtime and minimise repair costs.
How does Active Care work?
It’s a service to ensure optimal equipment uptime.
- CareTrack records equipment data and sends it to the Volvo monitoring centre.
- Volvo experts monitor the equipment in real time and send warning notifications to the Volvo supplier. If action is required, your official provider will contact you and advise you on the next steps to take.
- The information is also summarised in a PDF report and sent to you weekly.

Your equipment’s data is analysed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the Volvo Uptime Centre. If action is required, we will actively contact you as your Volvo dealer and service contact.
With Volvo Active Care, you can avoid unplanned downtime and costly repairs. We notify you in advance so you can plan maintenance and revision. In addition, you receive weekly reports, prepared in an easy-to-understand way. Of course, we also advise you on possible actions to minimise costs.
